Abstract
PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS AWAL BROS Skripsi, Agustus 2022 Maya Yurita Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Prilaku Cyberbullying Pada Kalangan Remaja di Sosial Media 91 hal + 12 tabel + 2 gambar + 3 lampiran ABSTRAK Prilaku cyberbullying pada remaja sekolah menjadi sebuah ancaman yang perlu segera ditangani oleh berbagai pihak seperti orang tua, guru di lingkungan sekolah serta praktisi kesehatan. Prilaku tersebut dapat membuat gangguan kesehatan pada remaja yang akan mengakibatkan rendahnya harga diri serta empati pada siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi prilaku cyberbullying pada remaja di sosial media. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik simple random sampling. Dimana sampel penelitian didapatkan dari data sampel acak siswa SMK Kemilau Bangsa. Populasi pada penelitian ini terdapat 103 siswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 82 siswa. Analisis univariat pada penelitian ini yaitu variabel empati pada kategori sedang, sebanyak 19 siswa dengan persentase sebesar 35.2%, variabel harga diri pada kategori sedang sebanyak 20 siswa dengan persentase sebesar 37%, dan cyberbulliying pada kategori sedang sebanyak 21 siswa dengan 38.9%. Hasil bivariat menunjukkan bahwa hipotesa pertama diterima, Terdapat pengaruh empati terhadap prilaku cyberbullying dengan chi-square .000 < .05. Dimana siswa yang memiliki empati yang tinggi akan merasa bahwa cyberbullying adalah tindakan yang buruk, sehingga siswa akan merasa memiliki satu sama lain dengan sebayanya di sekolah. Sedangkan hipotesa kedua ditolak. Tidak terdapat pengaruh dari harga diri terhadap prilaku cyberbullying. Didapat hasil chi-square sebesar .394 > 0.05. Harga diri siswa tidak dapat mempengaruhi prilaku dari cyberbullying dikarenakan siswa mempresepsikan bahwa harga diri harus terjaga. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa empati siswa dapat menekan prilaku cyberbullying pada siswa. Kata kunci : Empati, Harga Diri, Cyberbullying, Remaja, Sosial Media. This behavior can cause health problems in adolescents which will result in low self-esteem and empathy in students. This study was conducted to determine the factors that can influence cyberbullying behavior in adolescents on social media. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a simple random sampling technique. Where the research sample was obtained from random sample data of SMK Kemilau Bangsa students. The population in this study were 103 students with a total sample of 82 students. The univariate analysis in this study is the empathy variable in the medium category, as many as 19 students with a percentage of 35.2%, the self-esteem variable in the medium category as many as 20 students with a percentage of 37%, and cyberbullying in the moderate category as many as 21 students with 38.9%. Bivariate results show that the first hypothesis is accepted. There is an effect of empathy on cyberbullying behavior with chi-square .000 < .05. Where students who have high empathy will feel that cyberbullying is a bad act, so students will feel they have each other with their peers at school. While the second hypothesis is rejected. There is no effect of self-esteem on cyberbullying behavior. The chi-square result is .394 > 0.05. Students' self-esteem cannot influence the behavior of cyberbullying because students perceive that self-esteem must be maintained.
