Abstract

Maternal and infant mortality rates are one of the indicators of public health status. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2015 maternal mortality rates in global reach 303.000/live births. As for the purpose of the preparation of this final task report to provide ongoing obstetrician care in pregnant women, maternity, puerperium, newborns and family planning by being documented using the SOAP management approach. The methods in this writing are interviews, observations, physical examinations, obstetric continuity of care (COC) in BPM Veronica Sinaga, S.ST. Obstetric orphanage given on the Mrs RE age of 22 Mrs. RA aged 39 years lasts 8 weeks with the frequency of pregnancy on the Mrs RE age 22 years done 2 times from pregnancy 36 weeks – 37 weeks, which became the subject on the management of obstetrics delivery is Mrs. RA age 39 years and during the upbringing Mrs. RA performed Mrs. RA carried out monitoring since the term of childbirth, the visit of peurperium and newborn babies for 4 times and care family planning For selected contraceptives and used mothers are condoms. This antenatal visit has a positive impact on the welfare of mothers and fetus means that regular antenatal visits to the midwives can do high risk detection, hopefully mothers get proper and best care. COC on Mrs RE and Mrs RA pregnant, labor, peurperium, infant and family planning based on the results of the assessment and examination is not found to have complications and the care of obstetrics in accordance with the professional standards of obstetrics conducted comprehensively.
