Abstract

PROGRAM STUDI S1 ILMU KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS AWAL BROS Skripsi, 27 Maret 2025 Nurul Hanifa 202314204090 HUBUNGAN LAMA WAKTU TUNGGU ( BOARDING TIME ) UNIT GAWAT DARURAT DENGAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASIEN DI RS AWAL BROS BOTANIA BATAM IX + 53 Halaman, 8 Tabel, 7 Lampiran ABSTRAK Pelayanan gawat darurat di rumah sakit merupakan bagian penting dalam upaya penyelamatan nyawa dan pencegahan kecacatan pada pasien. Salah satu indikator mutu pelayanan UGD adalah boarding time, yaitu waktu yang diperlukan pasien sejak diputuskan untuk rawat inap hingga masuk ke ruang perawatan dengan standar kecil dari 30 menit.Boarding time yang lama dapat berdampak pada tingkat kepuasan pasien, yang merupakan indikator penting dalam mengevaluasi kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan lama waktu tunggu ( boarding time ) unit gawat darurat dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien di RS Awal Bros Botania. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan metode kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 157 pasien dengan ESI 3. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari kuesioner Brief Emergency Department Patient Satisfaction Scale (BEPSS) untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan pasien dan lembar observasi boarding time untuk melihat ketercapaian boarding time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 98,1% pasien merasa puas dengan pelayanan UGD, sementara boarding time kurang dari 30 menit tercapai pada 59,9% pasien. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara boarding time dan kepuasan pasien dengan nilai p = 0,033 (< 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin cepat waktu tunggu pasien, semakin tinggi tingkat kepuasan pasien. Kesimpulannya, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara boarding time dengan kepuasan pasien di RS Awal Bros Botania Batam. One of the quality indicators of ED services is boarding time, which is the duration required for patients from the admission decision to room entry with standart of less than 30 minute. Prolonged boarding time can impact patient satisfaction, which is an essential indicator in evaluating the quality of hospital services. This study aims to analyse the relationship between boarding time and the level of patient statisfaction at Awalbros Botania Hospital.The design of study used a cross-sectional approach with quantitative methods. Sample of this study was 157 patients with ESI 3 cathegory and this study consisted of Brief Emergency Department Patient Satisfaction Scale (BEPSS) to measure the level of statisfaction and boarding time observation sheets to see the achievementof boarding time. The results indicate that 98.1% of patients are satisfied with the ED services, while a boarding time of less than 30 minutes was achieved for 59.9% of patients. Statistical analysis with chi-square shows a significant relationship between boarding time and patient satisfaction with a p-value of 0.033 (< 0.05). This indicates that the faster the boarding time, the higher the level of patient satisfaction.
