Abstract
PROGRAM STUDI ILMUKEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS AWAL BROS Skripsi, Maret 2025 Eka Fitriyaningsih Hubungan Persepsi Perawat Tentang Spiritualitas Dengan Praktik Keperawatan Spiritual Di RS X Kota Batam Xii, 78 halaman + 6 tabel + 2 skema + 10 lampiran ABSTRAK Spiritualitas merupakan pemahaman tentang tujuan hidup, pengakuan transendensi diri, dan pembentukan hubungan dengan diri sendiri dan orang lain. Di Indonesia, perawat memprioritaskan kesejahteraan fisik pasien dan memandang kebutuhan spiritual pasien sebagai kewajiban sekunder perawat, dengan tanggung jawab utama berada pada pemimpin agama atau departemen spiritual. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi perawat tentang spiritualitas dengan praktik keperawatan spiritual di RS X Kota Batam. Metode penelitian analitik pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian yakni Perawat ruang rawat inap dewasa di RS X Kota Batam, sebanyak 55 orang dengan tekhnik pengambilan sampel yakni total sampling. Hasil analisa univariat untuk persepsi perawat tentang spiritualitas mayoritas responden dengan persepsi rendah sebesar 47.3% sementara berdasarkan praktik perawatan spiritual mayoritas responden dengan praktik rendah sebesar 56.4%. Sementara analisa bivariat chisquare diperoleh nilai p value 0.016<0.05 artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi perawat tentang spiritualitas dengan praktik keperawatan spiritual. Saran dalam penelitian ini sebaiknya perawat dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan keterampilan serta kompetensi dalam memberikan keperawatan spiritual, untuk penelitian selanjutnya bisa dilakukan penelitian kualitatif. In Indonesia, nurses prioritize the physical well-being of patients and view the spiritual needs of patients as a secondary obligation of nurses, with the primary responsibility resting on religious leaders or the spiritual department. Objective This study aims to determine the relationship between nurses' perceptions of spirituality and spiritual nursing practices at Hospital X in Batam City. The research method is an analytical approach using a Cross Sectional design. The sample in the study consisted of adult inpatient ward nurses at RS X Batam City, totaling 55 individuals, using a total sampling technique. The results of the univariate analysis for nurses' perceptions of spirituality showed that the majority of respondents had low perceptions at 47.3%, while based on spiritual care practices, the majority of respondents had low practices at 56.4%. Meanwhile, the bivariate chi-square analysis yielded a p-value of 0.016<0.05, indicating a significant relationship between nurses' perceptions of spirituality and spiritual nursing practices. The recommendation in this study is that nurses should enhance their awareness and knowledge of skills and competencies in providing spiritual nursing care.
