Abstract

ABSTRAK Anak yang mengalami hospitalisasi mereka berusaha untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan yang baru dirumah sakit, berpisah dengan orang tua sehingga kondisi tersebut bisa menyebabkan stres pada anak. Jika dampak dari hospitalisasi tidak teratasi maka akan berdampak signifikan pada anak seperti gangguan emosional dan psikologis, memperlambat proses penyembuhan, dan pengaruh jangka panjang bisa menyebabkan trauma pada anak. Untuk membantu menurunkan stres pada anak bisa dilakukan dengan terapi non-farmakologis menggunakan teknik distraksi storytelling dengan bercerita atau mendongeng dalam menyampaikan isi perasaan sehingga bisa mengalihkan perhatian anak dari rasa sakit yang dialami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Penerapan Storytelling Terhadap Dampak Hospitalisasi Pada Anak Usia Prasekolah di RSUD Muhammad Sani Karimun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain pra eksperiment Pretest and Posttest Without Control Group menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah 30 responden. Uji statistik pada penelitian ini menggunakan Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian sesudah dilakukan storytelling nilai p-value 0.000 < 0.005 yang artinya Ho ditolak Ha diterima maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh antara storytelling terhadap stres hospitalisasi pada anak usia prasekolah. Pada keperawatan diharapakan dapat diterapkan sebagai metode untuk memberikan rasa nyaman kepada anak usia prasekolah yang menjalani hospitalisasi agar tidak stres. If the impact of hospitalization is not resolved, it will have a significant impact on the child such as emotional and psychological disorders, slowing down the healing process, and long-term effects can cause trauma to the child. To help reduce stress in children, it can be done with non-pharmacological therapy using storytelling distraction techniques by telling stories or storytelling in conveying the content of feelings so that it can distract the child from the pain experienced. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an effect of the application of storytelling on the impact of hospitalization on preschool children at Muhammad Sani Karimun Hospital. The method used in this research was a pre-experimental design, Pretest and Posttest Without Control Group, using purposive sampling with a total of 30 respondents. Statistical tests in this study used Wilcoxon. The results of the research after storytelling were carried out with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.005, which means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence between storytelling and hospitalization stress in preschool children. It is hoped that nursing can be applied as a method to provide a sense of comfort to preschool aged children undergoing hospitalization so that they are not stressed.
