Abstract
ABSTRAK Masa neonatus (0-28 hari) terjadi perubahan yang sangat besar dari kehidupan di dalam rahim dan terjadi pematangan organ hampir pada semua sistem. Hasil Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2017 menunjukkan Angka Kematian Neonatus (AKN) sebesar 15 per 1.000 kelahiran hidup. Fenomena yang ditermukan di RS Awal Bros Batam jumlah kelahiran 208, pada bayi yang dilakukan terapi intravena, bayi tidak dilakukan pemberian tindakan untuk mengurangi nyeri seperti penggunaan pacifier. Tujuan Mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pacifier terhadap nyeri pemberian terapi intravena pada neonatus di RS Awal Bros Batam. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah pre eksperimental design dengan dengan menggunakan one group pre test post test design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 bayi yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Awal Bros Batam dan mendapat terapi intravena dan data dianalisa menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rannk Test. Hasil diketahui adanya perbedaan signifikan, yang mana (p-value 0,000 ≤0,05) hal ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skala nyeri rata-rata dari sebelum dilakukan intervensi dan setelah dilakukannya intervensi. Meningkatkan informasi dan motivasi bagi perawat mengenai pengaruh penggunaan pacifier terhadap nyeri pemberian terapi intravena pada neonatus di Rumah Sakit Awal Bros batam. The Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey results in 2017 showed that the Neonatal Mortality Rate was 15 per 1,000 live births. The phenomenon that was found at Awal Bros Hospital, Batam, the number of births was 208, in infants who received intravenous therapy, infants were not given pacifiers to reduce pain. Objective To determine the effect of using a pacifier on pain in the administration of intravenous therapy to neonates at Awal Bros Hospital, Batam. The design of this research is a pre-experimental design by using one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample in this study were 20 infants who were treated at Awal Bros Hospital Batam and received intravenous therapy and the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results showed tthet th a significant difference, which (p-value 0.000 0.05) indicated a significant difference between the average score before the intervention. Increasing information and motivation for nurses regarding the effect of using pacifiers on pain in giving intravenous therapy to neonates at Awal Bros Hospital, Batam.
