Abstract

Pemeliharaan rekam medis merupakan suatu kegiatan dengan tujuan untuk melindungi, mengawasi dan menjaga agar arsip tetap terjamin keselamatannya. Berdasarkan survey pendahuluan di Puskesmas Sei Langkai ditemukan bahwa pemeliharaan rekam medis belum terlaksana dengan baik hal tersebut dikarenakan masih adanya kerusakan pada status rekam medis, sistem penyimpanan yang belum sesuai dengan standar dan kurangnya pengetahuan petugas tentang pentingnya pemeliharaan rekam medis. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pemeliharaan dokumen rekam medis di ruang filing Puskesmas Sei Langkai. Metode : Metode penelitian yang dipakai di penelitian ini memakai metode kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara . Hasil : Pada penelitian ini ditemukan hasil yaitu masih terdapat adanya petugas yang bukan lulusan perekam medis sehingga kurangnya pengetahuan petugas dalam memelihara status rekam medis, hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan terdapatnya sampul status rekam medis yang belum diganti, sistem penyimpanan yang tidak berdasarkan dengan aturan yang ada dan tidak dilakukannya penggunaan tracer, kurangnya rak penyimpanan yang terdapat di ruangan dan terakhir ruangan penyimpanan yang kurang memadai sehingga tidak dapat dilakukan pembenahan. Kesimpulan : Pemeliharaan dokumen rekam atau status rekam medis di Puskesmas Sei Langkai belum berjalan dengan maksimal dan efektif. Hal tersebut dikarenakan 4 faktor yaitu petugas, dokumen rekam medis, sistem penyimpanan dan ruangan rekam medis. Kata Kunci : Pemeliharaan rekam medis, Penyimpanan rekam medis Maintenance of medical records is an activity with the aim of protecting, supervising and maintaining archive safety. Based on a preliminary survey at the Sei Langkai Health Center, it was found that maintenance of medical records had not been carried out properly, this was due to damage to the status of medical records, storage systems that were not in accordance with standards and lack of knowledge of officers about the importance of maintaining medical records. Purpose: To find out the implementation of maintenance of medical record documents in the filing room of the Sei Langkai Health Center. Method: The research method used in this study uses qualitative methods with observation and interviews. Results: In this study the results were found, namely that there were still officers who were not medical record graduates so that the lack of knowledge of officers in maintaining medical record status, this was evidenced by the presence of medical record status covers that had not been replaced, storage systems that were not in accordance with existing rules and not using tracers, lack of storage shelves in the room and finally inadequate storage space so that improvements cannot be made. Conclusion: Maintenance of record documents or medical record status at the Sei Langkai Health Center has not run optimally and effectively. This is due to 4 factors, namely officers, medical record documents, storage systems and medical record rooms. Keywords: Medical record maintenance, Medical record storage
