Abstract
PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS AWAL BROS Skripsi, Agustus 2025 Bayu Hanggara 65 Halaman + 6 Tabel + 6 Gambar + 2 Skema + 16 Lampiran Pengaruh Pelatihan dan Media Kartu Kwartet terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan mengenai First Aid untuk Siswa SMAN 10 Batam ABSTRAK Rendahnya pengetahuan siswa SMA mengenai pertolongan pertama (first aid) dapat menghambat respon cepat dalam menghadapi situasi darurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan dan media kartu kwartet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan first aid siswa SMAN 10 Batam. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa kelas X (Sepuluh) yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner pengetahuan first aid sebanyak 15 soal pilihan ganda. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pre-test, pelatihan, permainan kartu kwartet bermuatan materi first aid, dan post-test. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan median skor pengetahuan dari 9,00 menjadi 13,00 dengan p-value = 0,001 (p<0,05), penelitian menandakan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat pengetahuan siswa setelah diberikan pelatihan dan media kartu kwartet. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi pelatihan dengan media edukatif interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai first aid. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar peneliti selanjutnya melakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan desain kuasi-eksperimental atau eksperimen murni yang melibatkan kelompok kontrol, memperluas jumlah dan ragam partisipan dari berbagai sekolah untuk meningkatkan generalisasi hasil. This study aimed to analyze the effect of training and the use of quartet cards as a learning medium on improving first aid knowledge among students of SMAN 10 Batam. The research employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 25 tenth-grade students selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a 15-item multiple-choice first aid knowledge questionnaire. Data collection was conducted through a pre-test, training, quartet card game containing first aid material, and a post-test. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed an increase in the median knowledge score from 9.00 to 13.00 with a p-value = 0.001 (p<0.05), indicating a significant improvement in students’ knowledge after the training and the use of quartet cards. This study concludes that the combination of training and interactive educational media is effective in enhancing students’ first aid knowledge. Therefore, further research is recommended using a quasi-experimental or true experimental design with a control group, as well as expanding the sample size and diversity across different schools to improve the generalizability of the findings.
