Abstract
PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS AWAL BROS Skripsi, 5 Agustus 2025 Nur Fadhilah HUBUNGAN STIGMA DAN KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT ARV DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN ODHA DI PUSKESMAS LUBUK BAJA BATAM 117 hal + 16 tabel + 2 skema + 14 lampiran ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Penyakit HIV/AIDS masih menjadi tantangan bagi kesehatan global. pasien ODHA seringkali mendapatkan perlakuan negatif karna stigma yang masih melekat di masyarakat, yang menghambat mereka dalam mendapatkan pengobatan dan menurunkan motivasi mereka dalam minum obat ARV yang menjadi faktor penting dalam menekan virus load, dan dapat memperpanjang hidup. Sehingga meningkatkan dan memastikan kualitas hidup pasien ODHA menjadi target global. Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan stigma dan kepatuhan minum obat ARV dengan kualitas hidup pasien ODHA. Metodologi Penelitian: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling yang melibatkan 87 responden di Poli VCT Puskesmas Lubuk Baja Batam. Instrument penelitian menggunakan Berger HIV Stigma Scale, Morisky Medication Adherence Scale dan WHOQOL-HIV Bref quesionarre. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi square. Hasil Penelitian: Hubungan stigma dengan kualitas hidup pasien ODHA didapat p-value 0,827. Dan hubungan kepatuhan minum obat ARV dengan Kualitas hidup pasien ODHA didapat p-value 0,024. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepatuhan minum obat ARV dengan kualitas hidup pasien ODHA. Kata Kunci: Stigma, Pasien ODHA, Kepatuhan minum obat, Kualitas Hidup. PLWHA patients often receive negative treatment due to the stigma that still lingers in society, which hinders them from getting treatment and reduces their motivation to take ARV medication which is an important factor in suppressing the viral load, and can prolong life. So that improving and ensuring the quality of life of PLWHA patients becomes a global target. Research Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between stigma and adherence to taking ARV medication with the quality of life of PLWHA patients. Research Methodology: This study design uses quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling involving 87 respondents at the VCT Polyclinic of Lubuk Baja Health Center, Batam. The research instrument used the Berger HIV Stigma Scale, Morisky Medication Adherence Scale and WHOQOL-HIV Bref questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test. Research Results: Stigma relationship with the quality of life of PLWHA patients obtained a p-value of 0.827. The relationship between ARV medication adherence and quality of life in patients living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) was 0.024. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between ARV medication adherence and quality of life in patients living with HIV/AIDS.
