PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS AWAL BROS Skripsi, Maret 2025 Riawati Rosanna HUBUNGAN PERAN PERAWAT DENGAN PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN SPIRITUAL PASIEN DI RUANG ICU DAN TERATAI RUMAH SAKIT X xii, 68 halaman + 6 tabel + 2 skema + 10 lampiran ABSTRAK Pelayanan spiritual masih belum terlaksana secara maksimal, hal tersebut disebabkan karena perawat menganggap pelayanan spiritual kurang penting dan bukan prioritas, kesibukan di dalam ruangan, perbedaan agama, menganggap agama adalah hal privasi, dan kurang memahami tentang konsep spiritual. Aspek spiritual dibutuhkan karena merupakan komponen penting dalam perawatan paliatif yang merupakan karakter holistik yang berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup, well-being, dan mengurangi distress pada pasien paliatif. Apabila perawatan spiritual pasien tidak terpenuhi dan pasien tidak mampu melakukan praktik keagamaan akan menyebabkan distress spiritual pada pasien tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan peran perawat dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual pasien di Ruang ICU dan Teratai Rumah Sakit X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan jenis rancangan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional, populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 118 orang, instrument penelitian menggunakan kuesioner pemenuhan spiritual DSES (Daily Spiritual Experience Scale) yang dikembangkan oleh Underwood dan Teresi. Analisa data yang digunakan yaitu analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat. Hasil penelitian didapatkan Mayoritas peran perawat care giver adalah cukup sebanyak 56,8% (67 responden), mayoritas kebutuhan spiritual pasien baik sebanyak 78,8% (93 responden) dan Tidak ada hubungan peran perawat dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual pasien di Ruang ICU dan Teratai Rumah Sakit X dengan p-value 0,630. Penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan pelatihan perawat dalam asuhan keperawatan spiritual, serta menyediakan fasilitas yang mendukung kebutuhan spiritual pasien. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of nurses and the fulfillment of patients' spiritual needs in the ICU and Teratai Rooms of X Hospital. The research method used was a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach, the population in this study was 118 people, and the research instrument used the DSES (Daily Spiritual Experience Scale) spiritual fulfillment questionnaire developed by Underwood and Teresi. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results of the study showed that the majority of the role of caregiver nurses was sufficient at 56.8% (67 respondents), the majority of patients' spiritual needs were good at 78.8% (93 respondents) and there was no relationship between the role of nurses and the fulfillment of patients' spiritual needs in the ICU and Teratai Rooms of X Hospital with a p-value of 0.630.
