Abstract

PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS AWAL BROS BATAM Skripsi, September 2022 Belina Sofitra Pengaruh Mirror Therapy Terhadap Kekuatan Otot Pada Penderita Stroke Dengan Hemiparesis di Wilayah Kerja UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop 63 halaman + 7 tabel + 9 Gambar + 11 lampiran ABSTRAK Sebanyak 15 juta orang menderita stroke di seluruh dunia setiap tahunnya. 5 juta orang mati dan 5 juta lainnya secara permanen dinonaktifkan. Tekanan darah tinggi berkontribusi lebih dari 12,7 juta stroke di seluruh dunia. Fenomena yang ditemukan di UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop dari 10 orang penderita stroke hemoragik dengan hemiparase, 3 orang mengatakan tidak bisa menggerakkan tangan yang lemah, 2 orang mengatakan beberapa kali mencoba menggerakkan tidak ada perubahan, sedangkan 5 orang mengatakan sulit menggerakkan tangan tanpa bantuan orang lain. Dari survey rata-rata penderita stroke tidak mengetahui tentang terapi cermin (mirror therapy). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mirror therapy terhadap kekuatan otot pada penderita stroke dengan hemiparesis di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperimental design dengan dengan menggunakan model one grup pretest-posttest desain. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari pasien stroke yang mengalami hemiparesis di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop berjumlah 21 orang dan data dianalisa menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Man Whitney. Hasil diketahui adanya perbedaan signifikan, yang mana (p-value 0,000 ≤0,05) hal ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor rata-rata dari sebelum dilakukan intervensi dan setelah dilakukannya intervensi maka mirror therapy berpengaruh terhadap kekuatan otot pada penderita stroke dengan hemiparesis. Kesimpulannya ada pengaruh mirror therapy terhadap kekuatan otot pada penderita stroke dengan hemiparesis di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop. The phenomenon was found at the UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop from 10 people with hemipterous stroke with hemiparesis, 3 people said they could not move their weak hands, 2 people said they tried to move their hands several times without any change, while 5 people said it was difficult to move their hands without the help of others. From the survey, the average stroke patient did not know about mirror therapy. This study aims to determine the effect of mirror therapy on muscle strength in stroke patients with hemiparesis in the working area of the UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop. The design of this study was a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design model. The sample in this study consisted of stroke patients who experienced hemiparesis in the working area of the UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop totalling 21 people and the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Man Whitney test. The results show that there is a significant difference, which (p-value 0.000 0.05) this indicates a significant difference between the average score from before the intervention and after the intervention, mirror therapy has an effect on muscle strength in stroke patients with hemiparesis. . In conclusion, there is an effect of mirror therapy on muscle strength in stroke patients with hemiparesis in the working area of the UPT Puskesmas Sei Lekop.
