Abstract
PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERITAS AWAL BROS BATAM Skripsi, Agustus 2022 Rosmian Br Sitanggang Pengaruh Terapi Light Massage Terhadap Tekanan Darah Penderita Hipertensi Primer Di Rumah Sakit X Batam Tahun 2022 78 hal + 9 table + 2 skema + 8 lampiran ABSTRAK Hipertensi adalah peningkatan tekanan darah sistolik sekitar 140 mmHg atau tekanan diastolik sekitar 90 mmHg. Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit degeneratif, umumnya tekanan darah bertambah secara perlahan dengan seiring bertambahnya umur. Terapi hipertensi dapat dikelompokkan dalam terapi nonfarmakologi dan farmakologis. Salah satu terapi alternatif komplementer pijat yang dapat diberikan pada penderita hipertensi yaitu light massage. Fenomena yang ditemukan di Rumah Sakit X Batam adalah lebih banyak pasien hipertensi yang melakukan kontrol menggunakan terapi farmakologi, sedikit pasien yang menggunakan terapi nonfarmakologi sebagai alternatif pengobatan hipertensi. Maka dari hasil fenomena ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian light massage pada pasien hipertensi primer di Rumah Sakit X Batam. Metode penelitian dengan metode Experimen. Sampel berjumlah 15 responden yang menjalani rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit Badan X tahun 2022 dengan tekhnik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling. Data diolah dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Analisa Univariat hasil Rata-rata tekanan darah sebelum dilakukan terapi light massage terhadap tekanan darah penderita hipertensi primer didapatkan sebagian besar responden adalah hipertensi grade I yaitu 9 responden (60%). Rata-rata tekanan darah sesudah dilakukan terapi light massage terhadap tekanan darah penderita hipertensi primer didapatkan sebagian besar responden adalah pra hipertensi yaitu 12 responden (80%). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan nilai rata-rata tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah terapi light massage terhadap tekanan darah penderita hipertensi primer dengan α<0,05 (p-value= 0,001). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bisa di jadikan data dasar bagi perawat di divisi keperawatan dan pelayanan komplementer di Rumah Sakit X Batam untuk melakukan kegiatan dalam mengurangi tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi. Hypertension is a degenerative disease, generally blood pressure increases slowly with age. Hypertension therapy can be grouped into non-pharmacological and pharmacological therapies. One of the alternative complementary massage therapies that can be given to people with hypertension is light massage. The phenomenon found in RS X is that some hypertensive patients do pharmacological therapy. This study was conducted to determine the effect of light massage on primary hypertension patients at the Batam Hospital. The research method is the experimental method. The sample amounted to 15 respondents who underwent outpatient treatment at the Polyclinic at the Batam Hospital in 2022 with the sampling technique of total sampling. The data were processed using the Wilcoxon test. Univariate analysis of results The average blood pressure before light massage therapy on the blood pressure of patients with primary hypertension found that most of the respondents were hypertension grade I, namely 9 respondents (60%). The average blood pressure after light massage therapy on the blood pressure of patients with primary hypertension found that most of the respondents were pre- hypertensive, namely 12 respondents (80%). There is a significant effect of the average value of blood pressure before and after light massage therapy on the blood pressure of patients with primary hypertension with <0.05 (p-value = 0.001). The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for nurses in the nursing division and complementary services at the Batam Business Administration Hospital to carry out activities in reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients.
