Abstract

Latar Belakang: Rekam medis aktif adalah rekam medis yang masih digunakan untuk pasien saat berkunjung berobat ke rumah sakit tersebut, sedangkan rekam medis inaktif adalah rekam medis yang telah mencapai waktu tertentu 5 tahun tidak pernah digunakan lagi karena pasiennya tidak pernah berkunjung lagi ke rumah sakit tersebut. Sistem penyusutan berkas rekam medis boleh disimpan lebih lama dari angka tahun yang ditentukan, namun apabila kapasitas ruang filing sudah padat maka perlu dilakukan pemusnahan berkas rekam medis yang sudah inaktif agar ram lebih longgar. Rak yang padat dapat mempersulit dan memperlambat proses penyimpanan dan pencarian kembali dokumen rekam medis. Selain itu, penyimpanan yang padat akan menyebabkan dokumen rekam medis menjadi tidak rapi, dan rusak Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui tentang pelaksanaan penyusutan berkas rekam medis di Rumah Sakit Elisabeth Batam Kota. Metode: Metode penelitian yang dipakai di penelitian ini memakai metode Kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara. Hasil: Faktor penghambat dari segi man adalah kurangnya waktu petugas. Faktor penghambat dari segi money tidak ada karena petugas belum memerlukan anggaran. Faktor penghambat dari segi methode yakni tidak berjalannya 100% SOP yang sudah tersedia. Faktor penghambat dari segi material yakni kurangnya rak penyimpanan. Faktor penghambat dari segi machine yakni tidak ada karena penyusutan masih dilakukan secara manual. Kesimpulan: penyusutan berkas rekam medis terdapat 5M faktor penghambat yakni man waktu petugas yang tidak cukup dikarenan beban kerja, money berupa anggaran yang belum diperlukan, method yaitu Sop yang berjalan belum 100% terlaksana, material yakni kurangnya rak penyimpanan dan machine yaitu mesin yang diperlukan untuk penyusutan. Methods: The research method used in this study uses a qualitative method by conducting interviews. Result: The inhibiting factor in terms of man is the lack of staff time. The inhibiting factor in terms of money does not exist because the officers do not need a budget. The inhibiting factor in terms of the method is that 100% of the SOPs that are already available do not work. The inhibiting factor in terms of material is the lack of storage racks. The inhibiting factor in terms of the machine is that it does not exist because the shrinkage is still done manually. Conclusion: the shrinkage of the medical record file there are 5M inhibiting factors, namely the staff's time is not enough due to the workload, money in the form of a budget that is not yet needed, the method that is running Sop has not been 100% implemented, the material is the lack of storage racks and machines, namely the machines needed to depreciation.
