Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu upaya untuk menjaga keselamatan pasien dan tenaga kesehatan (perawat) adalah dengan menerapkan standar operasional prosedur dalam setiap tindakan perawat. Pengetahuan tentang prosedur yang kurang tepat akan berdampak terjadinya infeksi nosokomial, yang menyebabkan terjadinya penyakit baru seperti infeksi pada luka maupun kondisi lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan perawat melakukan pelaksanaan standar prosedur operasional dengan kejadian infeksi pada luka post op di Rumah Sakit Bakti Timah Karimun. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat yang bekerja di rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Bakti Timah Karimun yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang berjumlah 53 responden dan data dianalisa menggunakan Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan pada kepatuhan perawat melakukan pelaksanaan standar prosedur operasional dengan kejadian infeksi pada luka post op di Rumah Sakit Bakti Timah Karimun dengan p value 0,013 (>0.05). Saran untuk perawat perlu adanya supervisi untuk mengevaluasi perkembangan keterampilan perawatan luka yang dilakukan pada pasien. Kata Kunci : Perawat, Standar Prosedur Operasional, Infeksi ABSTRACT One of the efforts to maintain the safety of patients and health workers (nurses) is to apply standard operating procedures in every procedure. Knowledge of improper procedures will have an impact on the occurrence of nosocomial infections, which cause new diseases such as infections of wounds and other conditions. The aim of this study was to find out the compliance relationship of nurses carrying out the implementation of standard operational procedures with the incidence of infection in post op wounds at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital. This research used quantitative design with a Cross Sectional approach. Sampling techniques used purposive sampling. Respondents in this study were 53 nurses who worked in the hospital at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital who have met the inclusion criteria, and the data analyzed using Chi-Square. The results showed that there was a significant correlation in the compliance of nurses to carry out operating procedures standard with the incidence of infection in post op wounds at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital with a p value of 0.013 (>0.05). Recommendation for nurses is that supervision is needed to evaluate the development of wound care skills performed in patients. Keywords: Nurse's, Standard Operational Procedures, Infection
